On August 19, 1964, the Beatles' first official North American tour began at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California. The tour went on to break records over its 31 days, which included 32 shows in 25 cities including performances at Carnegie Hall, the Washington Coliseum, the Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
