"When Arthur Rankin, Jr. put the Rankin/Bass Archives in my care in the early 1990s, I always thought this image would lend itself nicely to 3-D, to bring out the Trademark Rankin/Bass Animagic style! It was featured in my first book and my second book, The Making of the Rankin/Bass Holiday Classic: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in 2001.
