Rush's Vapor Trails is the deeply personal album born from Neil Peart's journey through loss and healing: after years away following personal tragedy, the band's return in 2002 produced one of their most emotionally raw and powerful records.

After witnessing a big ball of fire shooting slowly across the heavens, longtime collaborator and Rush artist Hugh Syme created a quick gestural painting of his concept to share with Rush's drummer Neil Peart but the drummer's response was more enthusiastic than expected. "I remember saying to Neil, 'Something like this,' to which Neil responded, 'No, no, that's it,'" he says. "And I said, 'No, no, I'll do it right.' He said, 'That is right!'"

This collectible shadowbox art piece measures 14" x 14" x 2 1/2" and comes ready to hang with an official Rush Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

Each piece is printed on 1/8” thick optical-grade acrylic with vibrant UV-cured inks and set in a high-quality finished MDF wood frame. Our shadowbox art pieces are handcrafted in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
