Why?

Frosty the Snowman is still belly-whopping across network TV screens fifty years on: Rankin/Bass’s beloved stop-motion classic, featuring Karen on his back and Paul Coker Jr.’s iconic character designs, captured in officially licensed handcrafted 3D art.

We’re pleased and delighted to have connected with the official Rankin/Bass archivist Rick Goldschmidt of Miser Bros Press to help us bring this wonderful art to life:

"At age Fifty, Frosty is still Belly Whopping across Network TV screens. The only television special to stay on the same Network, CBS, for fifty consecutive years! Paul Coker, Jr., one of my dearest friends in the Rankin/Bass world and in his nineties now, is responsible for the look of Rankin/Bass' Frosty the Snowman and most of the Rankin/Bass TV Specials. This original publicity image shows Karen on his back, who was originally voiced by my late friend June Foray, but at the last minute replaced with an unknown little girl. Writer Romeo Muller really brought Frosty to life, with his incredible Happy Birthday backstory, that has contributed greatly to Frosty's longevity" - Rick Goldschmidt

Each piece is printed on 3/4″ thick optical-grade acrylic with vibrant UV-cured inks and measures 4 1/2” x 6”
